Obituary for Phyllis Mora

Phyllis Mora
Phyllis Sherman Mora was born to Thelma and Stewart Sherman in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on February 16, 1937. She passed away peacefully on March 27, 2017 at Tranquility Hospice in Austell, Georgia.
When she was 13, she moved with her family to Miami, Florida. She graduated from Edison Senior High School in 1955, and met her lifelong best friend Barbara Rohrer Jensen, who recently passed away.
She lived in Florida until 1979 when she became a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines and met the love of her life, pilot Conrad Mora. They were married in 1980 and enjoyed flying and traveling all over the world.
Phyllis and her husband were active members of the Mercedes Benz Club of Atlanta, and helped organize many functions within the community. Phyllis was the life of the party and adored by all.
In the last few years of her life Phyllis enjoyed searching online stores and catalogs choosing the perfect gifts for all she loved. Home Shopping Network and QVC will be grieving as well.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years Conrad, sisters Elaine and Lorraine, children and their spouses; Charlene and Leslie, Cindy and Tom, Casey and partner Dale, and grandchildren and their spouses; Cari and Taylor, and Debra and soon to be husband Ben, and her beloved cat Gwen.
To honor her wishes there will be no funeral service and her burial will be at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. Instead of flowers, her family would like you to do unexpected acts of kindness for those less fortunate in remembrance of how much Phyllis loved giving to others.
